The Loofah is a sub-tropical and tropical plant which can attain 15 metres in height

and produces fruit shaped like cucumbers.

These are cultivated and harvested just before ripening, to be eaten as a vegetable in Asia and Africa.

The fruit of Luffa aegyptica can also be harvested when ripe (at 9 months).

After being soaked in water for several days, they are dried and cleaned of their pulp and seeds, retaining only their fibrous “skeleton”.

This member of the squash family is therefore a natural, vegetal fibre which is hypoallergenic and biodegradable.

Just one simple gesture is needed to have sublimely beautiful skin!

The Loofah is used wet and swells when soaked in water. After use, simply rinse it, shake it and let it dry.

Use the Loofah daily or once a week, whichever suits you best.

It will last about 6 months (much longer than a synthetic Loofah).

Be careful of counterfeits, there are many synthetic Loofahs available!

You can also massage with the Loofah harder, but still painlessly, on your elbows and heels. It’s much gentler than using a pumice stone!
